HIGHEST QUALITY IN EVERY RESPECT
It is our most important goal to fulfill our customers' requirements. All GfE business processes have been designed to meet these demands.
Since the beginning of 2001 we have been certified
according to 
DIN
EN ISO 9001:2000 . The certification has been successfully renewed
in December 2007.
Additionally GfE was awarded the DIN EN 9100 certification in 2007. This certification enable
us to demonstrate our absolute commitment to quality,
safety and customer satisfaction within the aerospace
industry.
For GfE long-term safety and environmental
protection are more important than short-term cost considerations. Therefore
our Integrated Management System (IMS) meets environmental and
safety criteria beyond the demands of DIN EN ISO 9001:2000.
A certification
according to DIN EN ISO 14001 is in preparation.
In order to guarantee an ecologically harmless production and the satisfaction of our customers' requirements regarding the quality of our products we have a state-of-the-art laboratory. Here, our products are carefully monitored during all stages of production - from the raw material to the finished product according to our customers' guidelines.
During the production process, several quality assurance steps are carried out, including
- visual inspection
- UV light inspection
- X-ray inspection
- chemical analysis.
In our chemical and physical analyses the use of
- X-ray fluorescence analysis
- ICP spectroscopy
- atom absorption
- gas analysis
- wet-chemical procedures
- scanning electron microscopy with EDX
- physical analysis (FSSS, BET, laser diffraction, etc.)
guarantees a high level of
quality and consistency.
